A physician by profession, he represented Calcutta Medical College Football team. Regular Right Winger of the Football Team of S.S.U., he became General Secretary of the Club later on.
The first ever Pro Vice Chancellor (Academic) of Calcutta University. He was one of the best Goalkeeper of the District in his time and also represented Mohun Bagan Athletic Club in Power League matches. Later on as administrator he served the Club as Gen. Secretary and then President. He was also awarded by the Govt. of West Bengal.

He was Chief Engineer, P.W.D. Govt. of West Bengal and later on the Chairman of Housing Board, Govt. of West Bengal. He played Football for our Club in his childhood days. He was the chief architect of our playground.
